The Mustafa Pasa Mosque, not to be confused with the much larger Lala
Mustafa Pasa Mosque, was originally built in the 14th century.
After the Ottomans took over in Cyprus, a shrine and pulpit was added,
and it was turned into a mescid (small mosque), and named after the
first governor of the island. On the exterior of the church,
the western wall is decorated with Byzantine style mouldings. In the
courtyard, there are three graves belonging to important Ottomans. Back to
